President and Chairman of Winbro Group Ltd. and President and founder of Flow Grinding Corp. Both companies are located in Woburn, Massachusetts. For over forty years, Dr. Perry has helped to develop non-traditional machining technologies and advanced manufacturing methods used principally in gas turbine and semiconductor equipment manufacturing. From 1975 until 2001, he was successively Engineering Manager, President and Chairman of Dynetics Corp., a Winbro Group company providing capital equipment and services for Abrasive Flow Machining and Electrochemical Deburring. Dynetics was sold in 2001. In 1999 Winbro Group acquired MJ Technologies Ltd. in Leicestershire England and in 2003 merged this with another UK company to form Winbro Group Technologies Ltd., a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced machines and technologies based on non-conventional processes. These include High Speed EDM Drilling, Laser drilling, and ablation, Creep-Feed Grinding and ECM. WGT was sold in 2019. Since then, Winbro Group’s principal activity has been investing in early-stage technology and software companies. In 2011, Dr. Perry cofounded Flow Grinding Corp. with his son Luke to again manufacture machining systems and provide support for Abrasive Flow Machining and Electrochemical Deburring. Dr. Perry graduated from Harvard College in 1970 earning an AB in Chemistry. In 1975 he received a Ph.D. also in Chemistry from the University of California Berkeley.
