BPYO Auditions

Audition applications are now closed.

Fall audition excerpts are posted below.

If you have questions or need help, please email bpyo@bostonphil.org and we will assist you.

Please prepare two contrasting pieces or movements of the highest level that showcase your musical and technical abilities. Pieces from different styles and time periods are encouraged. (Percussionists, please prepare something on timpani, snare, and mallets.)

Please also prepare the designated orchestral excerpts for your instrument, posted below. If you would like to substitute other excerpts from the standard repertoire, please email bpyo@bostonphil.org for approval. BPYO auditions will include an informal interview.
