Audition for the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra's Final Season!

AUDITIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS/GROUPS

1. STUDENTS (Strings only)

1. enrolled in a Boston area undergraduate program, or
2. a graduate program, or
3. have graduated within (2) years from such a program

International Students: You must meet the criteria above AND you will be required to provide valid work authorization via an updated and signed I-20 Form. If your work authorization does not prove that you are allowed to work for the Boston Philharmonic, you will need be allowed to rehearse or perform with us. Those who are required to provide CPT will need to reapply for authorization prior to every performance - please check with your school's DSO / International Student Advisor for details.

You will also require a current Social Security number in order to be payed! If you do not have a Social Security, please apply for one PRIOR to the audition.

NOTE: We are not auditioning for Union subs or new Volunteers for our final season.

PLEASE PREPARE ALL PARTS AS NOTED BELOW AND BRING SEVERAL COPIES OF YOUR RESUME TO YOUR AUDITION FOR THE COMMITTEE.

ALL AUDITIONS WILL BE VIDEO RECORDED — BY APPLYING AND AGREEING TO AUDITION, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE VIDEO/AUDIO RECORDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAW (M.G.L. Chapter 272, Section 99).
