About the 2021-2022 Season
Plans for the 2021-2022 concert season are under way! As we enter a concert season unlike any we have experienced before, we are reaching out to update you on our current status and plans as we move forward. We will announce our 2021-2022 season soon.
We will continue to release archival video of previous performances on our YouTube channel and will keep you apprised of any live events (virtual or in person). We look forward to greeting you in the concert hall again! In the meanwhile, we send you our warmest wishes for good health as we navigate these challenging times.
** Please note that all BPO performances on Thursday evening will be part of our Discovery Series. The traditional pre-concert lecture, which we call our Guide to the Music, will be interspersed throughout the performance.
*** Please note that all BPO performances in Saturday or Sunday will feature our traditional pre-concert lecture (called the Guide to the Music) approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes in advance of the performance. For Saturday evening concerts, this means that our pre-concert lecture will take place at 6:45pm. For Sunday afternoon concerts, this means that our pre-concert lecture will take place at 1:45pm. All lectures are held in the concert venue unless otherwise noted.
**** There will be no Guide to the Music prior to our BPYO performances though Maestro Zander often speaks for a few moments at the top of each of performance.
