Katianna Nardone is a composer and violinist who plays in a variety of styles, including classical, jazz, and folk. She completed her undergraduate degree summa cum laude at Amherst College and earned her MA in music composition at Tufts University in 2022. Katianna currently teaches violin at Boston Music Project and El Sistema Somerville. Recognition for Katianna’s work includes the Eric Edward Sundquist Prize, selection as a winner of the Da Camera Singers Young Composers Competition, a Douglas Cox violin scholarship, and an Interlochen Fine Arts Award in Composition. When Katianna is not playing music, she enjoys cooking, riding her bike, and cross country skiing.
