Tricia Rose Stone is a former optometrist who owned a practice in downtown Boston for nine years. The highlight of her career, along with connecting with the dynamic Boston business community, was serving underprivileged youth in Boston Public Schools by providing free eye exams and eyewear to students in need.

She discovered the need for more arts integration in public schools during this project. Serendipitously, in late 2019 she was invited to become a member of the National Committee for the Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center, whose mission is access to arts education for all students across the country. She also serves on the South Shore Arts Center Board in Cohasset, MA.

Growing up with a very modest early childhood upbringing, she discovered that music (piano playing) was a means to express herself. It opened her eyes and imagination in unexpected ways. She wishes to participate in offering the same opportunities to children in the Boston area and beyond.

She and her husband Tim split time between Beacon Hill and Cohasset, MA.
