Linda Watson, soprano

The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra presents an All Wagner Program featuring world-class soprano Linda Watson. This unprecedented concert will include the most well-known orchestral excerpts from some of Wagner's famous opera masterpieces including Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Tristan und Isolde, and Die Götterdämmerung. These dramatic works are emotionally gripping, and they present unique and intense musical challenges for both musicians and singers.

World renowned soprano Linda Watson will join the Boston Philharmonic for this limited engagement of an All Wagner Program. Ms. Watson, a New England Conservatory graduate, is hailed as one of the top Wagnerian sopranos of our time. She has conquered most of the major opera stages of the world, singing the great Wagnerian roles at the Bayreuth Festival, the Metropolitan Opera, and virtually everywhere else that Wagner’s music is performed.
