Erik is a senior consulting actuary at Towers Watson with over 20 years of experience consulting on employee benefits programs. Erik specializes in financing, design and compliance of employee and executive benefit programs.
Erik has extensive consulting experience with mergers and acquisitions and the financial management of defined benefit and defined contribution programs. Erik’s clients include a number of higher education institutions and other not-for-profit organizations. Erik also has worked with a number of Fortune 1000 organizations primarily in the financial services sector.
Erik has been Treasurer and Board member of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra since 2005. In this role, Erik has been responsible for establishing and monitoring the Orchestra’s annual budget, overseeing financial transactions, ensuring proper risk management controls are in place and reviewing and approving the annual audit.
Erik is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA. He earned a BS degree in Mathematics from Tufts University and a BA degree from the New England Conservatory of Music.
