 Ruth Levitsky is a member of the MIT Activities Committee which is an employee benefit for staff at MIT. As a member of this committee, Ruth is one of the volunteers who seek out interesting things for the MIT community to do when they aren't working.Ruth plays flute & piccolo with the Brookline Band and also teaches the course on "Volunteer Opportunities" at the Brookline Center for Adult and Community Education". One of Ruth's favorite volunteer experiences was participating in the Boston Symphony Orchestra's "instrument petting zoo".Ruth is also a Past District Governor of Toastmasters International and in 2002 had the honor of presenting the "Communication and Leadership Award" to Maestro Zander.
