Tom Gallitano is the Managing Partner of Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP, a multi-specialty, 30 attorney law firm in Boston. In that position, Tom focuses on managing growth of the firm's practice areas, which include commercial litigation, business/real estate, employment law, and family law/estate planning/probate litigation. His own practice focuses on business litigation, professional liability, and employment law and litigation matters, especially litigation matters involving the recruitment and/or retention of key employees with technology firms and the protection of trade secrets and other confidential information. Professional responsibility representation also accounts for a significant part of his practice, representing a number of liability insurers defending claims of malpractice against their attorney insureds, as well as advising on ethical and professional responsibility matters and licensing.

In addition to serving on the BPO’s board, Tom also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Bar Foundation, and on the Development Committee of the Brookline Community Mental Health Center. He has served as an elected member of Brookline Town Meeting since 2002, and also serves on Brookline’s Licensing Review Committee.

Tom and his wife, Margaret Talmers, reside in Brookline, and have three children (Alex, age 24; Lia, age 21, and Nicholas, age 17), all of whom have filled their home with music (percussion, piano, voice, violin and viola, among other instruments) over the years. They have been known to joke that their living room is, in fact, a room filled with many instruments and some carefully arranged furniture!

Tom received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University and his J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
