Hobbies other than music: Over the years, many!! Jogging, squash, tennis, skiing, reading, woodworking, golf!!

Earliest musical memory: My first concert in NYC - with my grandmother...heard Piatigorsky in Carnegie Hall, obviously had a big impact...Also attended 90th birthday celebration for Casals with many famous cellists on stage conducted by Casals!!

What's on your IPod? Remarkable I don't have one

Other than performing music, I've always thought it would be fun to be a: great basketball player. I wanted to be 6'5" and "DUNK"

Who is one person from musical history (living or deceased) you'd like to have dinner with, and why? I would have loved to spend time with Beethoven when he had some hearing. I would have loved the challenge of knowing such a remarkable unusal crazy impetuous talent. All of my interview and clinical skills would have been challenged. Mahler comes in second; however, I would have wanted him as a patient with today's antibiotics so I could have saved his life from 'bacterial endocarditis' from which he died!
