Steve Prostano

Stephen E. Prostano leads Silver Bridge as Chief Executive Officer, responsible for strategic planning, marketing and managing the overall business day-to-day. He is also respnsible for the firm's Wealth Advisory, Family, Office, Trust Services and the educational platform, "The Silver Bridge Institute." Mr. Prostano has more than 25 years of global financial service experience, building wealth and asset management businesses.

Prior to Silver Bridge, Mr. Prostano was President and Chief Operating Office of Atlantic Trust, the $17 billion private wealth management division of AMVESCAP PLC. Mr. Prostano was also a Global Partner of AMVESCAP and a member of the Chairman's Advisory Council. Preceding Atlantic Trust, he served as President and Chieg Operating Officer of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s Global Asset Management Division, a division with more than $220 billion in assets under management. Mr. Prostano also served in senior management positions with KPMG Peat Marwisk, Mellon Bank/The Boston Company and FleetBoston Financial, and taught as an adjust professor at the Boston College Carroll School of Management.

Mr. Prostano, a Certified Public Accounant, earned his law degree cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, and received his LLM degree in Taxation from Boston University Law School. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with an AB in Economics and Philosophy.

Today, Mr. Prostano is a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, MBA and CPA. He is on the board of the Boston College Wall Street Council, a Business Advisory Council Member of the Boston College Law School, a Chapter of the Boston College Alumni Association and a Boston Estate Planning Council member. He is also on the Board of Overseers of Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art. Mr. Prostano, an avid skier, is married with three children, all of whom have attended Boston College.
