Kathy Sheperd received her Bachelor's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music where she studied with Nancy Cirillo. She attended Lesley College and got her Master's degree in Expressive Therapy. While living in California, she studied with Matsako Watanabe and played with the Ventura and Santa Barbara Symphonies. Kathy plays with the Massachusetts Symphony and the Boston Philharmonic. She founded the Sherborn String Ensemble which performs at nursing homes, hospitals and community events.
