A native from Valencia (Spain), Vicente Ortiz Gimeno earned a degree in clarinet performance before moving to Boston. He is a film scoring major at Berklee College of Music, minor in conducting, as well as principal clarinet and assistant conductor for the Berklee Symphony Orchestra.
Vicente recently won the “Ciutat de Llíria” International Composition Contest, held in Valencia (Spain), with his concerto for Marimba and Concert Band.
