Michael Valerio

Michael Valerio, a freshman from Sutton, Massachusetts, is pursuing a double major in Music Education and Performance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Michael is a trumpet player studying under the Boston Philharmonic's very own Principal Trumpet player, Eric Berlin.

At the University of Massachusetts, Michael plays in the Symphonic Band (Conducted by Dr. James P. Miller) as well as the Jazz Ensemble I (Directed by Prof. Jeff W. Holmes). Michael is also an active member of the Pioneer Valley Trumpet Guild located in Amherst, MA.
